Technical specifications
Automatic Charging
The main wall switch must be ON for the internal battery to charge. Normal daily usage is usually enough to keep it topped up.
Switch Control During Outages
The bulb is smart enough to know the difference between a power cut and you simply turning off the switch. If you turn the switch OFF before bed, the bulb will stay off, even if a power cut happens overnight.
Heat Dissipation
Ensure the fixture has basic ventilation. Avoid fully enclosed glass domes, as the battery needs to dissipate mild heat to maximize its lifespan.
How to Test
To test the battery right out of the box, touch both the bottom metal pins of the B22 base at the same time with a slightly damp finger or a metal clip.
